Biography
| Born in Brisbane 1972, Aleksandar Lazic moved to Yugoslavia and lived there for most of his adolescent life. He returned to Brisbane to escape the dangers of the Yugoslavian civil war. He brought a strong scientific background, cultural influences and experience in amateur theatre back to Australia. Pursuing greater knowledge of the arts, he studied Fine Art (Bachelor of Visual Arts) at Queensland College of Art in Brisbane, majoring in multi-media and art performance. Alex's work style and mediums are eclectic. He has studied and practices figurative, abstract and surreal approaches. He has also applied his skills in various disciplines including writing, dance, painting and the moving image most recently using light, video and photography in digital artwork. Alex brings energy and a broad range of experience to DA. |
